On Model Reconciliation: How to Reconcile When Robot Does not Know Human's Model?

چکیده
The Model Reconciliation Problem (MRP) was introduced to address issues in explainable AI planning. A solution a MRP is an explanation for the differences between models of human and planning agent (robot). Most approaches solving MRPs assume that robot, who needs provide explanations, knows model. This assumption not always realistic several situations (e.g., might decide update her model robot unaware updates). In this paper, we propose dialog-based approach computing explanations under assumptions (i) does know model; (ii) share set predicates domain their exchanges are about action descriptions fluents' values; (iii) communication parties perfect; (iv) truthful. computed through dialog, defined as sequence rounds exchanges, human. each round, sends potential explanation, called proposal, replies with evaluation response. We develop algorithms proposals by responses implement these system combines imperative means answer programming using multi-shot feature clingo.

mortality forecasting based on lee-carter model
over the past decades a number of approaches have been applied for forecasting mortality. in 1992, a new method for long-run forecast of the level and age pattern of mortality was published by lee and carter. this method was welcomed by many authors so it was extended through a wider class of generalized, parametric and nonlinear model. this model represents one of the most influential recent d...

Although planning for the tasks a household robot has to perform appears to be easy, there exists the problem that the robot is usually uncertain about the state of the household when starting to plan. For example, when getting the order of tidying up the kitchen, the robot does not know what objects it will have to put away and whether there are actually any objects that need to be put away. F...

Macroscopic objects appear to have definite positions. In a manyworlds interpretation of quantum theory, this appearance is an illusion; the correct view is the “view from outside” in which even macroscopic objects are in general in a superposition of different positions. In the Bohm model, objects really are in definite positions. This additional aspect of reality is accessible only from the “...

متن کاملHow (not) to model autonomous behaviour
Autonomous systems are the result of self-sustaining processes of constitution of an identity under precarious circumstances. They may transit through different modes of dynamical engagement with their environment, from committed ongoing coping to open susceptibility to external demands. This paper discusses these two statements and presents examples of models of autonomous behaviour using meth...
